Anti-Migraine Magnesium Seed Butter

Magnesium deficiency is found in over 50% of migraine patients. Pumpkin seeds are the richest food source of magnesium, while sunflower seeds provide tryptophan as a serotonin precursor. This replaces high-histamine nut butters entirely.

Ingredients
1 cup raw pumpkin seeds
¼ cup raw sunflower seeds
1 tbsp MCT oil or coconut oil
½ tsp vanilla powder (not extract)
1 tsp raw honey (if tolerated)
Pinch Himalayan salt
Method
1Toast seeds lightly at 150°C/300°F for 8 min — do not brown.
2Cool completely before blending — important for histamine control.
3Blend seeds in a high-speed blender until a paste forms.
4Add MCT oil gradually, vanilla, honey and salt.
5Blend until smooth and creamy. Store in glass jar, refrigerate up to 5 days.
